TITLE: Enologist/Winemaking Intern
STATUS: Seasonal/ temporary
Duration: Approximately August to early December
Position Summary:
An excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for making high quality wine. This position will assist the winemaking staff in the finishing and bottling steps for wine bottled at Robert Mondavi Winery. During harvest, activities will include vineyard monitoring and maturity testing, fruit processing QC, fermentation monitoring, press cuts, refermentations, scope checks, data entry and lab support.
Qualified candidates must have a degree in winemaking or related studies with two or more years of wine industry experience. Must have great verbal and written communication skills, able to multi-task, set priorities, computer literate. Must be able to climb stairs, lift 50 lbs., work in variable weather conditions, work flexible hours, including weekends, and at least 21 years old. Pass a post offer pre employment drug screening.
